Keonjhar: A bus conductor was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly molesting and trying to rape a woman passenger in Bhubaneswar.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon when the woman reportedly boarded the bus at Baramunda bus stand in Bhubaneswar, to travel to Keonjhar. There were no other passengers.
According to reports, the conductor initially asked the woman to get off the bus when she objected to his behaviour. However, when other passengers boarded the bus he could not insist.
The woman and her family members lodged a complaint at Keonjhar Town police station. Soon after, the arrest was made.
