World Photography Day celebrated in state capital

Bhubaneswar: Professional photographers and enthusiasts from across the state celebrated World Photography Day with much vigour and zeal in the state capital on Saturday.
To mark the occasion, a bike rally was organised by Odisha Photo-Videographic Traders’ Association (OPTA) in which more than 200 photographers participated. The rally was taken out from Rupali Square to Raj Mahal Square here to make people aware about the importance of photography.
Besides, a series of events including photography exhibition, a free health camp and blood donation camp was organised on the occasion.
The event was attended by photo and video journalists, representatives from Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Nicon and Canvera.
Among others, OPTA president Santosh Kumar Nayak, secretary Sanjay Mohanty and other members were present.
