Rourkela: Police arrested a youth at Jhirpani in Sundargarh district on Monday for allegedly spreading misinformation about the coronavirus pandemic.
Confirming the news, Rourkela SP K Siva Subramani said, “Till date, six persons have been arrested in five cases of rumour mongering.”
In the past 24 hours, Odisha police have registered three cases for spreading misinformation about COVID-19 on social media.
