Dhenkanal: A youth went missing after he allegedly jumped into Brahmani River in front of his father in Dhenkanal district of Odisha on Thursday.
As per sources, the incident took place on Baji Rout Bridge over the river under Bhuban Police Station limits when the youth was travelling with his father. The missing youth has been identified as Parshuram Kamar (25).
Parshuram was staying in his maternal uncle’s house. The youth was proceeding to his house along with his father when he suddenly got down of the bicycle and jumped into the river from the bridge.
On being, fire service personnel rushed to the site and launched a search operation. Efforts are on to trace the missing youth.
