Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to launch YouTube live classes for school children from June 21.
In the letter to the District Education Officers (DEOs) of Khurda, Balangir, Cuttack, Kendrapada, Ganjam, Koraput, Puri, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Nayagarh, Bhadrak, Balasore and Sambalpur districts, Director, Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority (OPEPA), has asked them to take necessary steps to enable the students to attend these classes.
To ensure a specific time slot for different classes, the DEOs have been asked to direct the school headmasters concerned to finalise the timetables.
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, no physical classes for Class I to VIII have been conducted in the state since last year.
