Jajpur: In a tragic incident, a 6-year-old boy died after he was allegedly administered a ‘wrong injection’ by a quack at a village in Dasarathpur area of Odisha’s Jajpur district on Tuesday.
The incident was reported from Mugapada village under the jurisdiction of Dasarathpur police station of the district. The deceased has been identified as Omm Mallick, son of Surendra Mallick.

“Our son was suffering from diarrhoea and we took him to the medicine store. The shop owner administered two injections after which the boy died,”Said Kunalata Mallick, mother of the deceased.
