AMRI-Bhubaneswar Is Now Manipal Hospitals

Bhubaneswar: Manipal Hospitals has announced brand integration of 400-bedded AMRI unit in Bhubaneswar, which it had acquired in September 2023.

According to a release, the service excellence at these facilities will be aligned with Manipal Hospitals’ standards, starting May 22. The integration has come along with advanced medical technologies and specialised treatment options, which includes elevation from a tertiary to a quaternary care hospital, improvised comprehensive cancer care services and a fully operational liver transplant clinic, and state-of-the-art second catheterization laboratory, which were previously not available at the hospital.

This integration represents a pivotal stride toward our objective to enhance healthcare delivery across East India. By seamlessly blending the expertise of Manipal Hospitals with the rich legacy of AMRI, we are not only committed to providing exceptional care to our patients but also fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence among our employees. Cluster Director, Bhubaneswar & Vijayawada, Dr Sudhakar Kantipudi said that the the integration of AMRI unit into Manipal Hospitals, heralded a new era of healthcare excellence in Bhubaneswar. “This strategic move underscores our unwavering commitment to revolutionise the healthcare landscape in Odisha, ensuring that our patients receive world-class treatment without the need to travel far.”

Hospital Director, Bhubaneswar, Dr Saktimaya Mohapatra, added that the integration underscored their commitment to expanding access to high-quality healthcare across the country.
