Bhubaneswar: Apprehending arrest for assaulting their tenant at Nayapalli in the city on March 16, BJP leader Upasna Mohapatra and her husband Shubranshu Sekhar Biswal have moved the Orissa High Court for advance bail.
The Commissionerate Police have formed three special teams to trace the whereabouts of Upasna, her husband and 28 other accused in the case.
While 17 persons have been arrested iso far, the court has granted bail to lawyer Manoranjan Mishra and Manoj Biswal.
Apart from this, Havildar Sumit Nandan Mohanty, house owner Bijay Kumar Nayak and his wife Sanjukta Nayak lodged in the Jharpada Jail have also moved the High Court for bail. A lower court had rejected their bail pleas earlier.
