New Delhi: Having failed to win majority on its own in the recent Lok Sabha elections, BJP suffered another minor setback in the Assembly byelections.
Of the 13 Assembly constituencies which went to polls across seven states on July 10, the saffron party managed to win just 2 seats, while INDIA bloc Opposition parties clinched 10 seats and Independent 1.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) swept all 4 seats in West Bengal, Congress won 4, AAP and DMK 1 each.
