Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Institute of Information Technology KIIT Deemed to be University has topped in Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA), 2021 rankings for the second time in a row.
ARIIA declared the rankings on December 29 by MoS Education (Ministry of Education) Dr Subhas Sarkar in the presence of AICTE Chairman Prof. Anil D Sahasrabudhe; AICTE Vice Chairman Dr MP Poonia and Additional Secretary, Technical Education, Rakesh Ranjan.
Chitkara University, Chandigarh and Lovely Professional University, Punjab bagged the second and third ranks respectively.
ARIIA is an initiative of the Ministry of Education to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and universities in India on indicators related to “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development ” amongst students and faculties.
KIIT achieved the ranking for the second time in a row. KIIT Deemed to be University has been recognised as an ‘Institution of Eminence’ by the Government of India.
