Bhubaneswar: The BJP has expelled former Berhampur Mayor Siba Shankar Dash and several other functionaries for anti-party activities.
Siba Shankar is contesting as an independent from Berhampur Assembly constituency and also levelled serious allegations against party candidate K Anil Kumar.
The others expelled from the party, according to the order issued by state BJP president Manmohan Samal on Tuesday, include women wing state executive body member Sadhana Pandey, former councillor of Biramitrapur Mahago Devi Koili Bhagat, state executive body member Nihar Rai, Nayagarh district unit vice president Indumati Nayak, Koraput SC wing president Bhagirathy Patania and cooperative cell coordinator Karpur Hantal and Manoj Patnaik.
