Mayurbhanj: The mortal remains of two migrant labourers, who were killed in a road accident in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, were brought to their native village in Odisha on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Lubina Marandi and Suru Marandi of Kosiabeda village under Saraskana block in Mayurbhanj district.
According to the sources, a car rammed into them while they were having tea near a bus stand in Prakasham district of Andhra Pradesh. They died on the spot.
With the help of local administration there, their bodies were brought to the Kosibeda village.
The villagers have been demanding compensation for the bereaved families.
