Bachchan Family Upset With Nimrat Kaur, To Take Action Against Source Of Rumour

Mumbai: Rumours about Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s divorce have been doing the rounds for quite some time.

Speculations are also rife that Abhishek’s alleged affair with his ‘Dasvi’ co-star Nimrat Kaur has led to the split between the couple.

While neither Abhishek nor Nimrat have cleared the air till now, a source close to the Bachchan family has opened up about the ill-effects of the rumours on the star family.

During an interview with Zoom, the source rubbished the rumours about Abhishek’s affair with Nimrat and called the reports as “mischievous, malicious, and utter rubbish.”

The source also shared that the Bachchan family is upset with Nimrat Kaur as she is tight-lipped about the rumours and is not setting the records straight.

Revealing the reason behind Abhishek’s silence, the source said, “There is not an iota of truth to these rumours. We wonder why the lady (Nimrat Kaur) has not issued a denial. Abhishek is keeping mum as there is already so much happening in his life at the moment. He has been advised to stay completely out of any controversy.”

Defending Abhishek, the source added, “Where and how did this rumour (of an affair) start? You should think about this. Abhishek is not the kind to cheat on his wife. He has been fully faithful to his wife throughout the marriage. Why would he suddenly take off at a tangent when the marriage is facing turbulent weather?”

The source further stated that the Bachchan family is considering taking legal action against the rumourmongers.

“The other day they killed off Jayaji’s mother. Just because the family doesn’t choose to react, don’t take their silence for granted. They are very angry about this toxic rumour and trying to figure out where it originated from. Suitable legal action will be taken thereafter,” said the source.
