Mumbai: Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala on Monday is currently being interrogated at the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office here in connection with the alleged Bollywood drug nexus.
According to India Today, Nadiadwala’s wife Shabana Saeed, who was arrested by the NCB on Sunday, has been sent to judicial custody.
Shabana’s lawyer has already filed a bail plea in the court. The hearing in the case has been scheduled for November 10.
On Sunday, the NCB officials raided Nadiadwala’s residence and seized 10 gm of ganja. The filmmaker was not home during the raid, following which the investigating officers arrested his wife Shabana.
Meanwhile, the NCB also raided the house of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal on Monday.

In a related development, the brother of actor Arjun Rampal’s partner Gabriella, Agisilaos Demetriades, who was granted bail by a special court on Friday in a drugs case, was later taken into custody by the NCB in another drug-related case, News 18 reported.
Agisilaos, who is of South African nationality, was arrested by the NCB a couple of days ago in an ongoing drugs probe linked to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
NCB officials claimed Agisilaos was arrested after his name was associated with the drug peddlers arrested in the Sushant case.
