Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Saturday announced that the results of Class X board examinations on the basis of internal assessment done by schools is likely to be declared by 3rd week of June.
Announcing its policy on the tabulation in a statement, the board said it has decided the weightage to be given in terms of maximum marks for schools who have conducted the tests.
As per the policy, periodic test/unit test will carry maximum 10 marks, half yearly/ mid-term examinations 30 and pre-board 40 marks. Earlier, 20 marks was given for internal assessment and 80 marks for year-end board examination.
In case of the students who have not appeared at any test, the school can conduct an offline/online or a telephonic test and record the process to certify the recommendations, the statement stated.
The board had cancelled the the Class X examinations in view of COVID-19 pandemic on April 14.
