Cuttack: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Tuesday extended the shutdown in the city till the midnight of July 10 after reviewing the current situation.
It also said that the weekend shutdown regulation will be followed as usual.
Following the announcement, the city will remain under complete shutdown till July 12.
The Millenium City has seen a sudden surge in COVID-19 cases in the last few days. The affected tally touched 198 on Tuesday. The virus has so far claimed two lives in the city.
