Bhadrak: Taking note of the arrival of 154 migrant workers to Bhadrak district from Surat in Gujarat and other states, the district administration on Tuesday extended the curfew in Charampa area till 7 am on Thursday as a safety measure.
In a letter, Bhadrak Collector Gyana Ranjan Das directed the OIC of Government Railway Police (GRP) and IICs of Bhadrak Town Police Station and Rural Police Station to promulgate and enforce the curfew in the prohibited area and take action against those violating the order under the penal provision of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, and IPC.
