Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a marginal fall in daily COVID caseload as 358 more people, including 47 in the age group of 0-18 years, tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had witnessed 467 cases on Friday, 521 on Thursday, 615 on Wednesday, 529 on Tuesday, 448 on Monday, and 652 on Sunday.
According to the I & PR department, 209 of the new infections are from quarantine and 149 are local contacts. Khurda reported the highest 186 cases (51.95%) followed by Cuttack at 15. No cases have been reported from seven districts.

Besides, 46 cases are from the state pool.
With these cases being detected from 53,709 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.66%. The TPR was 0.77% on Friday, 0.81% on Thursday, 0.98% on Wednesday, 0.94% on Tuesday, 0.70% on Monday, and 0.97% on Sunday.
While the affected tally has touched 1034634, Odisha now has 5,119 active cases.
