Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday released a list of new chairpersons of the District Planning Committee (DPC).
According to the notification, 19 ministers have been appointed as chairpersons of the committee. None of the ministers is heading DPCs of his/her own district in sync with earlier policy while ex-ministers and MLAs have been appointed as heads of DPCs in their own districts. Three women and eight SC/ST leaders also feature in the list.
