Bhubaneswar: Three days after an upward trend in daily COVID caseload, Odisha recorded a drop in the figures on Friday with 202 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 252 cases on Thursday and 199 cases on Wednesday.
According to the I & PR Department, 117 fresh cases are from quarantine and 85 local contacts. Among them, 45 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

Besides, six cases are from the state pool.
With 12,979 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) was 1.55%. The number of active cases stood at 1,400.
