Bhubaneswar: The state government on Friday brought ‘Grant of Goods Carriage Permit’ under the Right to Public Services Act, 2012.
The proposals in this regard got the approval of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. As per the proposal, the applicants can now get the permit for goods carriage within seven days of application with submission of valid documents and fees, a release from the chief minister’s office said.
The Commerce and Transport Department is already providing 31 services under ORTPSA. With this, the Department will provide 32 services as per the Act, the release stated.
