Baripada: Two inmates and matron of Government Girls’ High School at Tato in Karanjia block of Mayurbhanj district tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.
Talking to media, District Social Welfare Officer Chitta Ranjan Mohapatra said the matron and two girl students of Class IX and X staying in the school hostel and are kept in isolation in a separate room of the school while the district administration has begun their contact tracing.
Stating that the entire premise of the Girls’ High School has been sanitized, he said the remaining students and all staff have been found to be COVID-19 negative during the test.
