New Delhi: Union Minister for Electronics and IT, Law and Justice and Communications Ravi Shankar Prasad on Saturday launched India’s first national Artificial Intelligence Portal www.ai.gov.in.
The portal has been jointly developed by the Ministry of Electronics and IT and IT industry. National e-Governance Division of Ministry of Electronics and IT and NASSCOM will run the portal, according to a release of IT Ministry.
The portal will work as a one-stop digital platform for AI-related developments, sharing of resources such as articles, startups, investment funds in AI, resources, companies and educational institutions related to AI. It will also share document, case studies and research reports. It has also a section about learning and new job roles related to AI.
The education related programme has been created by the National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics and IT in collaboration with Intel India, with support from Department of School Education and Literacy Ministry of Human Resource Development.
The national programme is open to students of Classes VIII-XII from Central and state government-run schools.
