With growing number of individuals working remotely amid the coronavirus scare, Jio on Monday introduced a new ‘work from home’ prepaid plan.
The plan is a data booster pack that offers 2GB data per day for 51 days. The speed reduces to 64kbps after the 2GB is exhausted. There is no talktime or SMS bundled in this pack. Users will be able to find this in the 4G data vouchers section of the MyJio app or website.
Earlier, BSNL and ACT Fibernet had introduced similar work from home plans.
Last week, Jio had also revised all its 4G data vouchers almost doubling the data on most of the packs. The Rs 11 voucher comes with 800MB of data and 75 minutes of non-Jio calls instead of 400MB data. The Rs 21 plan now has 2GB data and 200 minutes of non-Jio calling minutes.
