Bhawanipatna: Barely hours after 32 students of Pragati Science Higher Secondary School tested positive for coronavirus, the Kalahandi district administration has the institution as a containment zone.
The administration has restricted entry of outsiders into the college campus.
A team of healthcare staff will be collecting swab sample of other students for COVID-19 test, said sources.
Earlier in the day, Kalahandi Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) Dr Pratap Kumar Behera confirmed that the infected students were hostel boarders. Antigen test of the students showed them to be positive for the virus, the CDMO had said.
