Malkangiri: The Odisha state road transport authority has temporarily suspended LAccMI AC bus service on all routes in Odisha’s Malkangiri district.
“In pursuance of the office order no: 1456/2024, 1458/2024, 1460/2024, 1462/2024, 1463/2024, 1465/2024, 1467/2024 dated: 30-07-2024 of the RTO, Malkangiri, it is to bring to the notice that the operation of AC buses in Malkangiri district are suspended with immediate effect as the permit is suspended,” the August 1 notice issued by district manager, LAccMI, said.
The suspension will remain in force until further order, it added.
Sources said that Malkangiri RTO suspended the permit of 7 AC Tier-II buses following complaints over clash of timings.
“The LAccMI buses operation of Tier II has been suspended from block to district in Malkangiri district,” read another notice issued by AOBOA (All Odisha Bus Owners Association) of Odisha.
