Koraput: Shops here will now be allowed to remain open for an additional two hours i.e. till 3 pm during the lockdown, informed the District Collector of Koraput.
Shops were allowed to remain open only for six hours from 7 am to 1 am. Now, the district administration has increased the timing to eight hours, from 7 am to 3 pm.
The step has been taken to reduce crowds from gathering due to the limited six-hour time frame earlier.
The last lockdown, that began on August 1, will end on August 14.
