Bhubaneswar: You’re either bored stiff or going bonkers with stress with the lockdown extended till May 3. In a cocoon, desperate to break the coronavirus transmission chain, the fast-paced life, the friends and fun shopping and binging are all being missed. And, most of us must have finished watching the TV Shows and movies on Netflix or Amazon Prime.
So, what next? Have you heard of the Lockdown Squad?
The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and Bhubaneswar Me have curated a bunch of new-age thinkers to help the city denizens beat the lockdown blues while channelling their need to express in innovative ways. And it is beginning with Shyam Kumar’s ‘Paint Paper Water’ and he will go live on Facebook at 4 pm on Thursday.
The Lockdown Squad Schedule:
“This is an initiative to engage our citizens creatively and, at the same time, to create awareness about the ongoing crisis. These days, most of the people who are creative and innovative are sitting idle due to the lockdown. Through this platform, they can learn and share their ideas or videos with us, which we will share on our social media platforms,” said BDA Chairperson Prem Chandra Chaudhury.
