Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha went up to 6614 on Sunday with 234 new cases being reported from 23 districts in the last 24 hours.
According to a tweet by the I &PR Department, 234 of these cases have been detected in the quarantine centres while the remaining 30 are local contacts.
Ganjam recorded the highest of 76 cases followed by Jajpur (41), Keonjhar (25), 18 each in Jharsuguda and Bargarh, 15 each in Mayurbhanj and Khurda, 12 each in Balasore and Cuttack, Puri (7), four each in Angul, Jagatsinghpur and Sundargarh, two each in Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Balangir, and one each in Koraput, Bhadrak, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Gajapati, Kalahandi and Sambalpur.
With 21 deaths and 4606 recoveries, Odisha now has 1977 active cases.
