Cuttack: Debasish Panda of Srivihar colony in Cuttack city has topped the JEE (Mains) 2021 March session examination from Odisha with 99.959166 percentile score.
Debasish, who is currently preparing for JEE Advanced 2021 scheduled for July 3, told a local media channel that he had worked really hard to crack this examination.
The lockdown allowed him ample time to complete the course and practice for the entrance exam as the online classes saved a lot of time spent on travelling.
“Though I did not follow any strict time table for studies, I used to read eight to ten hours regularly,” he added.
Debasish also attributed his success to his parents, school and coaching institutes’ teachers.
The results for Paper I (BE/BTech) were declared by the National Testing Agency on Wednesday.
