Rourkela: The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, has invited applications to fill up 143 faculty positions.

The vacancies are for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the Engineering, Architecture, Science, Humanities, and Management departments.

• Assistant Professor Grade II- (level- 10)-53 posts
• Assistant Professor Grade II(level- 11)- 59 posts
• Assistant Professor Grade I- (level- 12)-11 posts
• Associate Professor- (level- 13A2)-17 posts
• Professor (level-14A- 3 posts

Eligibility:

• Engineering Departments: First Class in BTech/BE with PhD in a relevant branch/discipline
• Industrial Design: First Class in BTech/BE/BDes with PhD in relevant branch/discipline
• Planning and Architecture: (i) First Class in MArch/MPlan for Assistant Professor Grade II (ii) First Class in MArch/ MPlan with PhD in a relevant branch/ discipline for Assistant Professor Grade I and higher position.
• Science Departments First class masters’ degree with PhD in relevant branch/discipline.
• Humanities and Social Sciences: First class masters’ degree with PhD in relevant branch/discipline
• School of Management: First Class in MBA/PGDBM with PhD in Management
