Bhubaneswar: Odisha is all set to get a Central Research Institute for Yoga and Naturopathy, senior BJP leader and Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi said on Sunday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to lay the foundation stone of the institute on October 29 in Jatni area of Bhubaneswar, Aparajita said in a post on X handle.
“I am glad to know that my endeavour to get the work of CENTRAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE FOR YOGA & NATUROPATHY started will succeed,” the Parliamentarian said in her post.
The BJP MP expressed her thanks to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav for their support in getting the work started for the project.
It may be noted that Aparajita had called on Chief Minister Majhi last month and sought necessary steps for the execution of multiple projects in Bhubaneswar.
The projects discussed by her with Odisha CM included the setting up Central Research Institute for Yoga & Naturopathy under the aegis of Ministry of AYUSH. Aparajita had also held discussion with the Union Minister regarding the proposed project and sought his support for its quick execution.
