Rain To Lash Bhubaneswar, Cuttack & 14 Odisha Districts By 5 PM Today; IMD Issues Yellow Warning

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning about rain and thundershower for 14 districts of Odisha including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities by 5 pm on Saturday.

Issuing a yellow warning, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said light to moderate rain and thundershower is likely to affect some parts of Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Rayagada, Nayagad, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj during next three hours.

The MeT Centre advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
