Cuttack: The registration for allotment of plots for Bali Jatra on the banks of river Mahanadi in Odisha’s Cuttack city will start from October 30.
The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), in a notification on Thursday, said the registration process for all patrons, commercial space for businesses, institutions and individuals will continue from October 30 to November 3. The lease process will continue from November 11 to 15.
While 5,000 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft has been fixed for premium patrons, the space measuring 1,000 sq ft to 5,000 sq ft will be allotted to gold patrons.
“The spaces for businessmen, institutions, and individuals in the annual fair will be put on lease. Maximum three plots, measuring less than 1,000 sq ft, can be allotted to an individual/businessman/institution,” said the CMC.
The allottees have to register names on payment of Rs 5,000 between 11 am and 5 pm from November 4 to 10. A minimum amount of Rs 50 has been fixed per sq ft of space to be leased out.
For swings and other play spaces, the minimum registration fee has been set at Rs 25,000. For this, the lease process will begin from November 16 to 17. The registration fee for makeshift and other such businesses has been fixed at Rs 1,000. All payments will be made online through www.baliyatra.org / Cuttack.nic.in.
