New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwals’s aide Bibhav Kumar, accused of assaulting Rajya Sabha MP and former Delhi Commission For Women (DCW) chairperson Swati Maliwal, was arrested on Saturday.
A Delhi Police team reportedly picked up Kumar from the back door of the chief minister’s residence, India Today reported.
He has been taken to the police station for interrogation.
Kumar was arrested two days after a case was registered against him by Delhi police based on Maliwal’s complaint that Kumar kicked her in her chest and stomach when she went to meet the chief minister on Monday.
Meanwhile, the medical report of Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi has revealed Maliwal sustained injuries in four parts of her body, including her left leg and below the right eye.
