Temperature In Odisha To Rise By 2 Degree Celsius; IMD Predicts Rain For 2 Days

Bhubaneswar: Some parts of Odisha are likely to experience light rain or thundershower during the next two days, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said on Sunday.

It said light rain and thundershower is also likely to occur at one or two places over some parts of the state on February 15 and 16.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD said that minimum temperatures observed appreciable rise at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.

The MeT Centre predicted further rise in minimum (night) temperature slightly by 2 degree Celsius at many places and no large change thereafter over the districts of the state.
Weather forecast in Odisha districts:

Light rain/thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Deogarh districts by Monday morning.

Similarly, light rain/thundershower may occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, and Angul on Monday and Tuesday.

For February 15 (From 8.30 am 15.02.2024 to 8.30 am of 16.02.2024)

Light rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and dry weather is very likely to prevail at other places.

For February 16 (From 8.30 am of 16.02.2024 to 8.30 am of 17.02.2024)
Light rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
