New Delhi: BJP MLA Madan Dilawar from Rajasthan can have a comfortable sleep after decades — literally.
Dilawar had taken a vow 30 years ago that he would not sleep on the bed, till Article 370 is revoked.
“I took the pledge in February 1990 that I will not sleep on a comfortable bed till Article 370 is abrogated for Jammu and Kashmir,” he told PTI.
“Since then, I carry a mat and a bed sheet whenever I am on tour. I sleep on it when I am at my home and even when I stay in a Circuit House,” Dilawar said.
He said he will finally sleep on a bed on August 8 after attending various events during the day.
