Cuttack: Cantonment police here on Monday arrested three robbers in connection with a loot worth Rs 14 lakh from Adinath Agency in Cuttack.
Basing on a complaint lodged by the agency’s staff, police carried out simultaneous raids at different locations in Cuttack to nab those involved in the crime.
Acting on a specific tip-off regarding their presence, a team of police managed to arrest the trio. A gun, a billhook (katuri) and Rs 2 lakh in cash were seized from their possession. Further inquiry into the case is on, police sources said.
