Mumbai: Five persons – a builder, a politician and two actors and a relative of theirs – were in the party which celebrity manager Disha Salian attended on June 8, reported Republic TV.
Disha allegedly dashed out of the ‘cocaine’ party at Juhu and called up actor Sushant Singh Rajput. After reaching her apartment at Malad, she reportedly told her fiance Rohan Rai about what transpired in the party.
While Disha fell to her death on the night of June 8 and Sushant was found hanging at his Bandra apartment on June 14 afternoon. She worked with Bunty Sajdeh’s talent management company Cornerstone, which also managed the actor.
Speaking to Republic TV, BJP MLA Nitish Rane said that CBI should investigate the role of Rohan in Disha’s ‘death by suicide’ case.
“Coincidentally, Rohan and his friends were co-ordinating for Disha’s funeral on June 9. But the date on the provisional post-mortem report is June 11. So, what were they co-ordinating on June 9? This gives rise to suspicion. Why is he not coming out and saying what had happened?” he questioned.
Disha was reportedly in a live-in relationship with Rohan and the couple was planning to get married later this year or next year.
Indicating that there was a strong link between the deaths of Disha and Sushant, the MLA claimed that Disha’s fiance knew the ‘truth about June 8’ and was allegedly in hiding.
“Something must have happened at the party on June 8 and someone must have been present there because of which the Mumbai Police is on the back foot. The same people were present on June 13 party. The whole system is trying to protect that someone,” he told the news channel.
Rane further said that he was ready to share everything he knew with CBI if Rohan did not come out and shared information with the investigating agency.
