Mumbai: Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan on Saturday, October 10 (Worlds Mental Health Day) opened up about her struggle with mental health and said that she has been clinically depressed for the past four years.
Ira posted a video on her Instagram where she discussed mental health issues. Soon after that her video went viral on social media and was lauded for speaking about her depression on public platform.
Soon after that, controversy queen Kangana Ranaut reacted to Ira’s depression saying that it’s ‘difficult for broken families’ children.
Kangana tweeted, “At 16 I was facing physical assault, was single-handedly taking care of my sister who was burnt with acid and also facing media wrath, there can be many reasons for depression but it’s generally difficult for broken families children, the traditional family system is very important.”
Soon after her tweet, Twitter started reacting to Kangana’s opinion. People again slammed her, for making all about herself.
One user said, “Kangana, it’s a serious request to you. U have every right to express your opinion. But not on others’ personal life. Hope u understand and don’t comment on anyone’s issue. Love and respect to you.”
Another user slammed her by saying, “The world’s greatest expert on depression has spoken. Don’t dare to ask how she’s the greatest, don’t you know that she made a model of the brain in school.”
