Cuttack: The Silver City saw two COVID-19 deaths and 40 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The 40 new cases are among the 96 reported from Cuttack district.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 18 are institutional quarantine, two home quarantine and the remaining 20 are local contact cases.
With this, the affected tally touched 15385 on Wednesday.
The two deceased are two men aged 60 and 65 respectively. The city also saw 48 more patients getting cure of the disease.
With 77 deaths and 14,545 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 763 active cases.
