Patna: Two people in the Patna block have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of positive cases in the block to 10, the district administration said on Sunday.
Both the new cases were detected in a quarantine centre.
The administration said one of the patients was a 19-year-old youth from Dumuria panchayat. He had recent travel history to Tamil Nadu.
The other patient is an 18-year-old youth from Budhikapudi panchayat. He is a Bangalore returnee.
The two patients were shifted to a COVID hospital, the administration said.
