Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor Buddhaditya Mohanty faced a police complaint in Bhubaneswar a few days after he approached police against film producer Pritam Sahu in Cuttack.
Rabindranath Panda, who claims to be a film producer, on Saturday filed a complaint at Nayapalli police station in Bhubaneswar alleging that Buddhaditya was threatening him.
Panda said the actor defamed him in various social media platforms and even threatened to spoil his career. The producer, who is the son of Balakrushna Panda and a resident of Nayapalli, he faced life threat from the actor.
Panda also alleged that Buddhaditya had called him on his WhatsApp number and scolded him in abusive language and warned him of dire consequences. The producer, who claimed to have produced nine Odia films, sought immediate action by the police against the actor.
It may be noted that Buddhaditya had filed a police complaint against Pritam Sahu over alleged disparaging social media post by the latter, tarnishing his image, on April 11.
In his complaint at Bidanasi police station in Cuttack, the actor mentioned about objectionable posts on him and his aunt and veteran actress Maheswata Mohanty on social media, including Instagram, by Sahu during the last seven months.
