Bhubaneswar: All government offices in Odisha have started functioning with full staff strength from August 2, official sources informed.
In the SOPs issued on Tuesday, the government reiterated that since most employees are now fully vaccinated, it is mandatory for them to attend office regularly.
“The employees who are unable to get vaccinated for medical or some other compelling reason(s), may seek exemption from attending office from the Head of Office, which would be considered on a case-to-case basis,” the notification read.
All offices will remain closed on 2nd and 4th Saturdays.
“All precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID infection should be strictly adhered to by all concerned,” it added.
