Bhubaneswar: One more person in Bhubaneswar has tested positive for COVID-19, taking the state’s tally to 55.
Government’s Chief Spokesperson on COVID-19 Subroto Bagchi on Monday identified him as a 35-year-old man of Bomikhal. He had come in contact with four other corona positive cases in the area, he added.
He has been shifted to KIMS COVID Hospital.
With this, the number of confirmed cases in Bomikhal rose to 15. Bhubaneswar, which is slowly turning into a potential COVID-19 hotspot, now has 42 positive cases.
So far, 13 people in Odisha, which has reported one COVID-19 casualty, have recovered from the infection.
