New Delhi: The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has summoned Nayagarh collector and SP of Odisha in connection with the alleged abduction and murder of 5-year-old Pari in Nayagarh district.
The Commission has asked the two officers to appear before it with detailed action taken report (ATR), copy of FIR and all relevant document pertaining to the matter through video-conferencing on December 9.
NCPCR chairperson Priyank Kanoongo in a tweet said the Commission has received complaints over human organ trafficking related to the alleged murder of the girl child in Jadupur village of the district.
Taking suo motu cognisance of the case, the Commission on Monday directed the Odisha government to submit a detailed report within 10 days.
