Bhubaneswar: A new voter list of the state will be published on January 15 next year, said Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sushil Kumar Lohani on Friday.
Speaking to media persons, Lohani said a special drive for revision of the electoral roll is underway and will continue till December 15. The voters can apply for correction deletion, and inclusion of names in the voters list on December 5 and 6 online.
Besides, the adults, who will complete 18 years as on January 1, 2021, can apply through Form-6 to include their name in the voter list as first-timers. Those who have changed states, do not have names in the voter list, or have two entries can apply for deletion, said Lohani.
He further said for correcting the errors in voter list or ID, wrong residence and other mistakes, one can apply through Form-8 and for deleting the names from the voter list, Form-7 needs to be filled up and applied.
