Bhubaneswar: Low pressure-induced rains have added a wintry touch to the Yuletide spirit in Odisha.
However, the drizzle since last night continued on Christmas day, leaving people drenched as they made their way to churches to offer prayers and dampened outdoor celebrations.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), light to moderate may continue in some parts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Rayagada and Puri till 4.30 pm.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and act accordingly.
The weather agency further stated that rainfall activities will significantly reduce from Thursday.
