Balangir: One person died and three others were injured after a speeding pick-up van knocked down their bike near in Belpada in Odisha’s Balangir district on Sunday morning.
The identity of the deceased and injured persons is yet to be established.
The accident took place near the bus stand of Kanut village in Patnagarh under Belpada police limits.
Local police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the district headquarters hospital.
The body of the deceased was sent for autopsy and a case has been registered by the police in this connection.
