Rayagada: A person was killed while two others sustained serious injuries when two motorcycles collided head-on at Siriguda Chhak under Kashipur block in Rayagada district on Tuesday.
Those injured were immediately rushed to Kashipur community health centre. Their condition is stated to be critical.
Though the exact reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained, locals told police that the mishap took place as the bikers were overspeeding.
Police later seized the body for postmortem. Further investigation is on.
